Frank's blog

Frank is married to Sue, and they have two sons. Kristopher is a Naval Flight Officer and is married to Elizabeth. They have three sons. Ryan is in high school. He is a musician in a local Christian band and currently lives at home. While Sue is a native Floridian from the Miami area, Frank grew up in White Plains, N.Y., and moved to Florida in 1974.

Frank is a second-career pastor, having spent more than 25 years in data processing management. He was called to ministry early in life but neglected to follow God's call. Later in life, he heard God calling again and surrendered his life to ministry in 1997 while he and his family were active members of Christ Church in Fort Lauderdale. He comes to First Church after seven years as the appointed pastor at Parkway Community Church in Pompano Beach.

With an undergraduate degree in group and interpersonal communications from Trinity University, he completed the ministers course of study at Duke Divinity School. He is currently working toward completing the necessary educational requirements to be ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church.

Frank understands his spiritual gifts to be preaching and teaching, and pastoral ministry. He's been actively involved with teens for many years, both before his call to ministry and since. He says, "My family and I are very excited to be a part of such a dynamic and obedient church as First Church. God has a plan for everyone's lives -- including youth! I look forward to discovering all that God is about to unfold in the lives of our youth and in the youth leadership at First Church as we seek his will for our lives together!"
