Rev. Larry Bergstrom Associate Minister E-mail Larry Larry's blog	About Larry Larry is a Florida native, having grown up in West Palm Beach. He attended the First United Methodist Church (now the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches) throughout his elementary and teen years until graduation from high school. In his college years, he felt God's call upon his life and began a career in full-time youth ministry with the United Methodist Church, beginning in 1972. For the next 19 years, he served in six different churches in Florida and Georgia. In 1989, God called on him again, this time to the ordained ministry. He attended Asbury Theological Seminary from 1991 to 1995 in Wilmore, Ky. Following graduation, he was assigned as one of the pastors to First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs. Larry is married to Julie, and they have three children and one grandchild. In June of 1998, Larry was ordained an Elder in the Florida Conference.
