What's Going On?
Children's ministry
If you like what you've seen or heard about the children's ministry and want to know more about the team that's making a difference in children's lives, now is the time to find out more. We are opening up opportunities for new members to join the Powerstation 8650 Team. This fall will bring a new level of fun and excitement. Come check it out or call Melea at 954-299-5349.
Church service
We need several volunteers to serve as ushers and communion servers for any of the services. No experience or age requirements! We will give you the training you need. Please call Gloria Marcey at 954-753-1296 for details.
Food pantry
Please continue to bring your unexpired canned food items and place them in the grocery cart at the sanctuary doors. Our shelves need to be restocked! Soup, veggies, meat, mayo, pasta & sauce, mac & cheese, and rice are items that we need.
SHARE
You can now place your order online! Please visit www.shareflorida.org. The pick-up date, time and place will be the same: First Church, Saturday, July 31 at 10 am. We will still take orders the first Wednesday of the month, 6-7 pm, and on the pick-up day (7-31-10) for the following month. The online menu includes photos of the items and recipes to share. Please check out this added convenience.
Are you in a small group?
Spend some time in discussion about each week's sermons. If you call Bev Abram in the church office at 954-752-0333, she will help you find a group best for you.
Women of Faith
Make plans to attend on Oct. 29 & 30 at the Bank Atlantic Center. Tickets are $89, which includes both days and two lunches. Please call Pat Beers at 754-368-8729 for details.
